@sneakersXwine I've tried too many sweet reds & I just can't. The drys have just always been me. Except sangria. Will always <3 sangria.
Summer Plans
June has just flown by for me and it seems like our summer never really got started since we went right from Memorial Day into handling all of this. But seeing as how today is the first day of summer, I’d figured I’d share a little summer to-do list with you all since I have my heart set on just letting go and enjoying things this season. It really kind of helps to make those long hot and humid days less drawn out and monotonous and give us something to look forward to.
Stained Glass
We went to dinner downtown last night at a local seafood restaurant. We were there celebrating Mother’s Day. We were also sending off a lifelong family friends’ son who left today for boot camp. It was a lovely dinner filled with delicious food, cold drinks and lots of laughter. These windows were right next to our table and I could resist snapping a shot of them.
Spring in the Swamp
Went out and did a photo walk at Cypress Gardens, which is a lovely little blackwater swamp where a lot of movies have been filmed. You can wander around and see everything in bloom in the Spring and even take a canoe out yourself. Have to watch out for Alligators though!
