@sneakersXwine I've tried too many sweet reds & I just can't. The drys have just always been me. Except sangria. Will always <3 sangria.
May Poem
In the midst of April’s excitement, I completely forgot the poem for that month. Here’s to getting back on track in May!
Daisy Time
March Poem

February Poem
Happy February!
January has been a busy month for me and February kicked off in a fairly crappy way. Since it’s the first of the month though, it’s time for some poetry and since February is the month of Valentine’s Day, I thought I’d share with you one of my all time favorite love poems.
This has always been and always will be one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever read!
January Poem
Burning the Old Year
December Poem
Am getting a late start this month, sorry y’all!
Winter-time
Late lies the wintry sun a-bed,
A frosty, fiery sleepy-head;
Blinks but an hour or two; and then,
A blood-red orange, sets again.
Before the stars have left the skies,
At morning in the dark I rise;
And shivering in my nakedness,
By the cold candle, bathe and dress.
Close by the jolly fire I sit
To warm my frozen bones a bit;
Or with a reindeer-sled, explore
The colder countries round the door.
When to go out, my nurse doth wrap
Me in my comforter and cap;
The cold wind burns my face, and blows
Its frosty pepper up my nose.
Black are my steps on silver sod;
Thick blows my frosty breath abroad;
And tree and house, and hill and lake,
Are frosted like a wedding-cake.
